A violent clash broke out during a Sant Ravidas Jayanti procession in a village near Roorkee. What began as a disagreement between two groups escalated into stone pelting and firing. One person lost his life and several others were injured. Police forces were deployed immediately to control the situation and maintain peace in the area.
