A Data Scientist works with structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, develop models, and support strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources.
- Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, and insights.
- Develop and optimize machine learning and predictive models.
- Build automated data pipelines and workflows.
- Create dashboards, visual reports, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.
- Evaluate model performance using relevant metrics.
- Document methodologies and findings for internal use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and data modeling.
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of MLOps and model deployment processes.
