Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple, situated at the confluence of the Godavari and Pranahita rivers, is a unique shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the Trilinga Kshetras, which give Telangana its name (“Telu-gana” → land of three lingas). The temple features twin lingams — Lord Shiva (Kaleshwara) and Lord Yama (Mukteswara) — placed on a single pedestal, making it a rare and powerful pilgrimage site.
